Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use the RSA Scripts website, including people with disabilities.

Standard

The site was built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), at level AA. We test against WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What we did

• A clear page structure: landmarks, headings in a logical order and a “Skip to content” link on every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
• Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios, and information is never given by color alone – each database name is written next to its color.
• Every form field has a visible label. Errors are listed at the top of the form, which receives focus, and next to each field.
• Confirmations, such as “Script copied to clipboard”, are announced to screen readers.
• Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on screens 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways, except inside a script's code panel.
• Movement is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
• No accessibility overlay or plug-in is used; accessibility is built into the pages themselves.

How we test

Every page is checked automatically with the axe-core tool against WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA, at desktop width and at 320 pixels, whenever the site changes. The main tasks – searching, copying a script, sending a message – are also tested using the keyboard only.

Known limitations

• Scripts are shown as they were written. Long lines in the code panel need sideways scrolling inside the panel.
• Some older scripts keep the text formatting of their original authors.
• The site is available in English only.
