Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information the RSA Scripts website (“the site”) collects, why, who receives it and what rights you have. It describes the site as it works today; if that changes, this page changes first.
Who is responsible
The site is run by Sammy Vaknin (RSA – Database Management), Israel. Email: sammyvaknin@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you send a message through the contact form
- We collect your name, your email address and your message.
- We use them only to read and answer your message. We do not add you to any mailing list and we never send marketing.
- The form can be sent only after you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy.
When you visit any page
- The hosting provider's web server keeps standard technical logs of every request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string and the referring page. They are used for security and for anonymous traffic statistics in the hosting control panel, and are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period according to its settings.
- The site counts how many times each script page is viewed per day. Only the total is stored – no IP address, browser details or cookie.
- The public site does not use cookies, local storage, analytics services, advertising or tracking pixels, and it loads no fonts or scripts from other companies.
If you are the site administrator
Signing in uses one necessary cookie, described in the Cookie Policy. Changes made in the admin area are recorded in a change log together with the administrator's name.
Who receives the information
- FastComet, the hosting provider, stores the site, its database, the server logs and the backups. Its servers are located outside Israel.
- When a message arrives, the site owner gets a notification by email, in a mailbox provided by Google (Gmail). The notification contains no personal details – only a link to the message in the admin area.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages are deleted automatically 24 months after they were received, together with any copies in the change log.
- Change log entries are deleted automatically after 24 months.
- Daily database backups are kept for 14 days, so a deleted message can remain in a backup for up to 14 more days.
How it is protected
The site is served over HTTPS. Only one administrator can sign in to the admin area; passwords are stored only as one-way hashes and repeated failed sign-ins are blocked. Every change in the admin area is logged, and the database is backed up every day.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981 – and, if you are in the European Union, under the GDPR – you may ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to sammyvaknin@gmail.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.
If you believe your privacy was not respected, you can complain to the Privacy Protection Authority in Israel or, in the European Union, to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is meant for database professionals and is not directed at children.
